December Wedding in Historic Church
Portland, Oregon
This wedding was a special one for Aspen & Birch because it was our 100th wedding shot in the Pacific Northwest area. As is expected most days in the PNW, the day was overcast, with a little bit of rain only during the bridal party photos. Overall, the day was fun due to a down to earth couple with a great sense of humor. The pictures featured in this blog were taken at the Hinson Memorial Baptist Church in Portland, Oregon. Before you dive into the photos, here is a brief introduction for the featured couple, Alexandria and Hunter.
Alexandria & Hunter’s love story is straight out of a modern fairy tale—complete with coffee, concerts, and a little divine intervention. These two, both fun-loving and a little nerdy, first met at the local coffee shop where Hunter worked. Alexandria was a regular, and over time, their small talk over lattes turned into deep conversations about life, faith, and their shared love of Hozier. It was through those conversations that she came to know Christ, making their journey even more meaningful. Now, in their mid-twenties, they tied the knot in a beautiful historic church, surrounded by loved ones. To bring it all full circle, they celebrated with a few just-married portraits back at the very coffee shop where it all began.

Hello! I love running, embroidery, beautiful photos, and hanging out with my husband. I currently reside in Austin, Texas.
Though I do not have any background in photography, I love looking at the art that photographers create. I am so excited to be working with Kate to continue to bring joy to clients via photography!
A lover of math, I have taught in a middle school for two years and hope to continue to serve in the public education system for years to come.
