And… to wrap things up, here’s a bonus venue! In October, I had the privilege of photographing some of my lifelong best friends’ wedding at Hoyt Arboretum. This park is positively LOVELY and has become a hot destination location for microweddings and elopements. The popular Redwood Deck has become a leading photo location in the Portland Metro area.
The day that my friends and I went out to capture these pictures, there was a light mist that caused the woods to have a silent mystical feel. We had an absolute blast, and it was a joy to see the photos come together!

I’m Kate
A Portland-based wedding photographer
Hey there! I’ve been serving my clients in the Greater Portland area as a professional photographer since 2019, and have documented over 50 weddings here in the Pacific Northwest.
I believe that photography is an art process designed to show the best parts of you. My goal with photography is to embrace and showcase the natural beauty of others. I am confident in posing all body types and cultivating an environment where people look and feel their best.
All people are beautiful, and it is an absolute joy to display your natural beauty through my photography.
When I’m not behind my camera, you can often find me drinking tea, learning new business skills, hanging out with my family and friends and church community, listening to a random conglomeration of music, and designing websites.
I look forward to connecting with you!
